Our Veterinarians

Amanda
Dr. Amanda

Veterinarian

Amanda has been living in the Danforth area for over 10 years, and she is excited to start a new clinic in her community! She graduated with honours from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2009, and she’s been working in small animal practices ever since.

Her professional interests include internal medicine and behavioural medicine. Amanda is also Fear-Free-certified! When not at the clinic, Amanda enjoys hiking, birding, cooking — and eating! — and exploring all the local places. La Di Da Boutique and Dough Bakery are two of her favourites.

She is kept busy by her two active and lively daughters, Hailey and Paige, as well as her husband, John. Ruling the roost are her two cats, Birken and Mr. Nibbles, who definitely lives up to his name!

Erin
Dr. Erin

Veterinarian

Erin moved from the west end into the neighbourhood in 2015, and she is looking forward to working where she plays! Since graduating with honours from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2012, she has worked at several small animal practices.

Erin enjoys the areas of soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and dermatology. She is a member of the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) and the Canadian Academy of Veterinary Dermatology. She’s also Fear Free-certified!

Erin shares her life with her husband Jeff and their four fur kids: two German Shepherds named Penny and Juno, and two adorable kitties named Benny and Fig. She can give you endless advice on which vacuums pick up dog hair the best.

In her free time, Erin enjoys taking her dogs for walks along the beaches, sampling and finding the best chocolate desserts — cake, cookie, pie… She’s not picky! — and coming up with her next home project.

Our Veterinary Technicians

Steve
Steve

Registered Veterinary Technician

Steve has been a veterinary technician since 2012, and he received his diploma in veterinary technology in 2016 from Thompson Rivers University in his home province of British Columbia. He is very grateful to be a part of the Broadview Veterinary team because one of his career goals has always been to build a clinic from the ground up and watch it grow.

Steve’s favourite parts about being a veterinary technician are putting families back together and experiencing the joy of an animal being reunited with their owners after an appointment or hospital stay.

Fun fact: if you ever see a man riding his bike through the city with the company of two adorable pups, make sure you say hello because that’s Steve and his two Shih Tzus, Charlie and Shobi! During his free time, Steve is a self-proclaimed foodie and globetrotter, so he loves trying out different restaurants and travelling the world!

Tharsini
Tharsini

Registered Veterinary Technician

Tharsini started working at a vet clinic when she was in high school, and she has not stopped since! She is a recent graduate of Seneca Polytechnic’s Veterinary Technician Program, and Tharsini recently joined the team at Broadview Veterinary Hospital. When Tharsini is not working, she likes to spend her time with her three dogs: Mocha, Rio, and Bamboo.

Rebecca
Rebecca

Registered Veterinary Technician

Rebecca graduated from Sheridan College’s Veterinary Technician Program in 2016, and she became a Registered Veterinary Technician a few months later.

After working in multiple clinics across Toronto, she joined the BVH team in November 2023. Rebecca enjoys being able to improve the health and well-being of all the four-legged patients that she works with.

Rebecca spends all of her free time with her beloved French bulldog, Charlie, as well as her husband. Together, they love to escape the city by seeking out new places to grab a snack and see the sights.

Our Veterinary Assistants and Client Service Representatives

kendra
Kendra

Client Care Representative/Veterinary Assistant

Kendra spent her summers at her grandparents’ farm in Northern Ontario. It was there, at a very early age, that she discovered her love of all creatures great and small.

She was welcomed into the world of veterinary medicine in 2019, and Kendra quickly developed a passion for the industry. She shares her heart with her Golden Retriever, Miller, who is a determined troublemaker. He keeps her spare time very occupied!

When she is not at work, Kendra enjoys spending time in nature or embarking on a good road trip. She looks forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members!

Edith Milley
Edith

Client Care Representative

Edith spent her childhood growing up with a menagerie of pets! She had dogs, guinea pigs, and lizards.

Then, Edith discovered the joys of cats in 2017 when she adopted her first one, Mila. Since then, she has acquired two more cats, and she is now a proud cat lady.

Edith recently started working in the veterinary world back in 2022, and she enjoys greeting all the four-legged family members who walk through our doors. In her spare time, she is an avid reader, and Western novels are her favourite. She also enjoys cooking and expanding her vegetarian palette.

Maggie
Maggie

Client Care Representative/Veterinary Assistant

Maggie was born and raised in Toronto. She got her start working with animals at Leslieville’s Timmie Doggie Outfitters, where she worked as a retail associate and a groomer’s assistant.

Maggie was thrilled to dive into the veterinary world in 2023, and her favourite part of the job is giving lots of love, pets, and scratches to the clinic’s many furry clients!

When she’s not working, Maggie enjoys doing all sorts of arts and crafts, including ceramics, embroidery, sewing, and paper crafts.
